Locelle and Minerva BC Partner to Accelerate Development of Women in Leadership

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

Vancouver, B.C  March 16, 2021:  Locelle and Minerva BC have announced their official partnership to move the needle on gender diversity in leadership.

At a time as crucial as National Women’s Month in supporting women for gender equality and opportunities, Minerva BC and Locelle have teamed up, and are actively taking steps in creating equitable futures in the workplace.

“We are thrilled to partner with Locelle to create opportunities for Minerva alumni to share their experience with other leaders”, said Tina Strehlke, CEO of Minerva BC.

Since the detrimental effects of Covid-19 have further magnified gender inequality in the workplace, both Locelle and Minerva are taking tangible actions in resolving this issue through the power of mentorship.

“In order to strengthen our ecosystem of women in leadership, we are thrilled to partner with Minerva BC – an organization whose mission is aligned with ours at Locelle. Together, we can democratize access to knowledge, mentorship and learning opportunities for women in male-dominated industries and develop a diverse leadership pipeline that translates into equitable workplaces for all,” said Humaira Ahmed, CEO of Locelle.

Locelle’s strategic approach in helping women recover from the effects of the pandemic and Minerva BC’s engagement with their network of women leaders as mentors, will strengthen the leadership pathway for women.
